About Dr. Namita Chawla

I am an Assistant Professor at Pimpri Chinchwad University with over 14 years of academic experience. I am currently engaged in a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in AI-enabled Business Sustainability (2025–2027), jointly with Dr. D.Y. Patil Education & Research Foundation (India) and Texas State University, USA. My work lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Green IT and Education.
I have authored 18 research papers (10+ SCOPUS-INDEXED), written three books, contributed to curriculum design, and actively mentor students in MCA, BCA & Management programs.

Qualification: Pursuing Post-Doctoral Fellowship, Ph.D., M.C.A., B.Sc. (Mathematics & Computer Science).

I enjoy exploring the outdoors and capturing moments. Nature walks, sunrise and sunset views, spending quiet hours by the riverside, feeling the ocean waves wash over me, and trekking all help me stay grounded, refreshed and creatively energized.

Animal Lover

I am an animal lover at heart. I feel deeply for them especially because they cannot speak for themselves.

Family-Oriented & Proud Mother

I am a family-oriented person and a proud mother. Being a mother is one of the most fulfilling parts of my life- it shapes my perspective, strengthens my empathy, and enhances the way I connect with students and colleagues.
My family brings balance, joy, and inspiration to my everyday life.
