My Research

Current Research

1. Green AI & Sustainability

My current research focuses on AI-enabled Business Sustainability, especially the strategic adoption of Green AI practices in Indian organizations. I examine how companies can balance innovation with environmental responsibility through:

  • Energy-efficient AI models
  • Sustainable data processing
  • Eco-friendly cloud infrastructure
  • ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) compliance
  • Responsible AI governance
  • Cost optimization through sustainable AI systems

This work is also aligned with my ongoing Post-Doctoral Fellowship (2025–2027) in Applied Business Research, jointly offered by Dr. D.Y. Patil Education & Research Foundation (India) and Texas State University (USA). My goal is to create a practical framework that organizations can adopt to reduce the environmental impact of AI systems while maintaining operational efficiency.

2. AI in Education

I am actively researching how Generative AI affects students’ independent thinking, academic performance, and digital learning behaviour. My current review and conceptual papers explore:

  • Cognitive impact of AI tools on student learning
  • Decline in independent reasoning due to over-dependency
  • Opportunities to use AI for constructive learning
  • Strategies for faculty to integrate ethical AI use
  • AI-supported assessment and feedback systems

This work contributes toward understanding how higher education institutions can adopt AI responsibly while preserving the integrity of learning outcomes.
